Behavioural and evolutionary ecology of fishes, with an emphasis on breeding system evolution, life history diversity, maternal effects, survival strategies and habitat, cultured and wild fish interactions, fisheries, and conservation. Interest in marine and freshwater fishes, with focus on salmonids and groundfish.
