Spiny Dogfish Processing
All dogfish are measured stretched out, from the tip of the snout to the tip of the upper lob of the caudal fin.
The stomach and dorsal spines were removed, then preserved and maturity was assessed. The stomach will be used to examine preferred prey items. Second dorsal spines are used to age the spiny dogfish.
