Thesis Project:
Studing life history characteristics of the spiny dogfish (Squalus acanthias) population off the Oregon and Washington coasts.
I graduated with a B.S. in Marine Biology from Western Washington University in 1998. Three months later I was offered a job as an intern for the School for Field Studies down in South Caicos, Turks and Caicos Islands for a year. A year later I moved back to the states and found a job with Washington Fish and Wildlife's hatchery division. I decided it was time to go back for my master's and decided on Oregon State University.
