Dave P. Jacobson

Dave is a Senior Faculty Research Assistant in the Marine Fisheries Genetics Lab at Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, OR. He received his Bachelors of Science from The University of Nevada, Reno. Dave manages the lab, collects and analyzes data, assists graduate students and interns in the molecular tools needed for their research projects. His research over the years has focused mainly on Chinook salmon, but he has also included steelhead, rockfish, copepod and many other marine species.
